Founded in 1950, West Side Opticians (WSO) is the oldest independent optical store on the Upper West Side.

We work directly with international designers to offer unique frames of the highest quality at reasonable prices. Our direct relationship with designers allows us to offer the latest trends before you see it anywhere else.

West Side Opticians is proud to be, and proud to support local and independent business.

As of Tuesday, July 7th we are back to our regular business hours of Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-6:30pm and Saturdays 9:30am-5:30pm.

We are also currently scheduling doctors appointments for Wednesdays and Saturdays.
